Training on Early Intervention by DNA
Nine member organizations (Implementing partners) from five districts \xe2\x80\x93 Bengaluru, Bagalakote, Bellary, Gadag and Vijayapura, have been providing early intervention services to children with Global Delay Development. A total of twenty-one people were trained from nine organizations. Over 700 children with developmental delays identified, over 458 receives intense services and over 600 stakeholders (ASHA, Anganwadi workers, Doctors and Elected panchayat raj leaders) in five districts were sensitized on the need for Early Intervention until March 2019.In total twelve member organizations are benefited from Early Intervention support from DNA. DNA currently has four Knowledge and training partners. They are Shristi Special Academy, Tamahar Trust, CBR Network 10 | P a g e and Association of People with Disability. Tools required for Early Intervention center and Training materials were developed by training partners.
